Ethical Production

California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB657) Disclosure

At KHY, we believe great fashion should never come at the cost of human rights. We are committed to maintaining an ethical, transparent, and responsible supply chain—and we comply fully with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB657). Below is an overview of the steps we take to identify and prevent human trafficking, forced labor, and child labor across our production partners.

1. Supplier Verification
We evaluate our suppliers to identify and mitigate potential risks of human trafficking and slavery. This includes internal assessments and requiring our partners to meet strict ethical and legal labor standards.

2. Auditing Practices
We conduct both announced and unannounced audits of select suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance. These audits focus on labor conditions, safety, and adherence to ethical sourcing practices.

3. Supplier Certification
Our direct suppliers are required to certify that the materials and labor used in our products comply with the laws of their respective countries—including those prohibiting forced or child labor.

4. Accountability & Enforcement
We maintain internal standards for employees and contractors to ensure compliance with our values. Any violations of these standards can result in corrective action, including termination of the relationship.

5. Employee Training
Internal teams involved in sourcing and production are trained to identify warning signs of forced labor and to enforce our standards. This includes annual refreshers on supplier ethics and compliance expectations.

KHY has completed rigorous testing of our supply chain and passed all requirements outlined in SB657. Documentation is available upon request.
